Trio
Voila
Composer Paul Fetler wrote
about Trio Voilá on August 5, 2005:
"I am struck by the high quality of every aspect of the
performance. I feel
it's an absolute must to hear this trio as it is a rare
opportunity to hear
this particularly rich sonority in contrast to more common
chamber music."
About Trio
Voilà
Trio Voilà is a rare, mixed ensemble comprised
of the flute, viola and guitar. Offering a unique musical
experience this combination of instruments has a long
tradition with original music from the 19th and 20th
centuries, along with new, ground-breaking and exciting
music by contemporary composers.
By nature, the tone creation of a wind, bowed and plucked
instrument is very different, producing sound colors which
can not be created by traditional wind or string ensembles.
Trio Voilà is, to our knowledge, the only one of its kind
in Florida and one of a handful in the US. Using some
period instruments, Trio Voilà places the highest artistic
demand on their work and performance.
The artistic accomplishment and impressive virtuosity of these three outstanding musicians, Jane Hoffman, Thomas Koch and Laura Jensen-Jennings will allow you a one-of-a-kind musical experience.
Here are a Rondo and a Romance performed by the trio:
- Rondo by Wenzeslav Matiegka from Serenade op. 26
-
Romance by Francesco Molino
from Trio Concertante op. 45
